We believe that, to truly support the artist, an investment must be made by both the collector as well as the artist. The collector trusts in the value and potential of the artist and the artist trusts in these same things in the collector. This tentative mutual trust forms a bond, and is guarantee toward a lasting commitment and a continued shared value.

An Art Affair Grant is a meager quarterly offering, intended to disburse small but vitalizing bursts of funding to those who find our sum would solve some of the  problems hindering their ongoing art making process.

An Art Affair Grant is available to domestic and international artists working in all media. As a  stipulation for eligibility to receive the An Art Affair Grant of $500, we ask that each prospective recipient be willing to exchange one of their available works of our mutual agreement in return for the award.
Work acquired through the grant program becomes a permanent part of the Art Affair Gallery collection. 

If you are interested in being considered for this grant, please send 5 digital images of recent work (please include artist’s name with file title-each image file size no larger than 2 MB ) via email. Include a written proposal describing your funding needs, a current résumé or a short biography and send to

There is no official application form. Instead please provide current contact information in the headings of your documentation.
There is a grant application fee of $20.00, payable here:

                    which will access our  PayPal account.

This helps offset the costs of this effort to fund meaningful work by serious artists.
Grant recipients agree by submitting their completed application to limited use of their images or other representation of their artwork and general information to be featured on this site. All rights will of course be retained by the artists.
Applications for the 1st Quarterly An Art Affair Grant must be submitted by January 29, 2010.

   A 40% off discount certificate (a $20 Value)  to be applied toward  purchase of your first slide show will be sent to every entrant.
